PAUWES students at Universidad Loyola Andalucia

With the support of direction PAUWES, three students (From Left to right: Kamundala Janvier, Shallirosena Mbwette and Francis Sadeu) of Energy Engineering in second year presented at the Europe/Africa competition “Empower a Billion lives” at Loyola Andalucia University in Seville, Spain the JuaBox solution to power Idjwi Island. Among 175 projects selected to participate to this regional ground, only 12 competed from 22nd to 23rd January. Idjwi Island is the second biggest Island in Africa after Madagascar, It has a population of 250 000 inhabitants isolated from the main grid. JuaBox presents, Social, economic, environmental and technical advantages for both household and Businesses. The three students are also participating in the Solar Decathlon Competition Africa in Morocco with the team of PAUWES Jua Jamii.
