
In a bid to continue enhancing the student’s capacity on various co-curricular activities and development of necessary skills required for the job market, the PAUWES CoP supported with the Entrepreneurship and Climate Change Clubs have collaborated with the Young Earth System Scientists (YESS) Community to initiate the second edition of the YESS-PAUWES webinar series on “Sustainable Development in Africa: The Role of Science and Social Engagement in Shaping the Future of the Continent” which will run from April to June, 2020.
This webinar series follows the success of the first edition which was held between 2018-2019 (More details about this 1st webinar series can be found on this technical report.
In this regard, we are please to invite you to join the first webinar session of the second edition that will be held online on Friday, 17th April, 2020 from 5-6 pm. The session will include a presentation by the speaker for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes discussion (Q&A) session in line with the following topic: “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Africa: A moment of reflection during this COVID-19 global Pandemic Era?”.
